Regarding Communication with Stakeholders and Reporting
In the course of conducting business consistent with the corporate philosophy of the Mandom Group, we try to keep in mind that advances are constantly being made in society and that we need to apply ingenuity to our thoughts and actions on the job each day. In fact we coined the word "KohDoh" — a key part of each principle that guides us in our daily work — to mean "thinking and working."
To improve our communication with a diverse range of stakeholders at Mandom, we will utilize the corporate website and strive to publish CSR information (information on social and environmental issues and corporate governance) on a timely basis. Also, every August we will issue our CSR/Sustainability Report (KohDoh Report).
Since the first Mandom Environmental Report issued in 2003, we have been striving to present reports that make it easy to understand the thoughtful actions we have been taking toward sustainable social development. Initially, the report focused entirely on environmental information, but later we began including more information on our social activities and corporate governance issues. In 2005 we issued a Social/Environmental Communication Report, which in 2011 we renamed the "KohDoh Report."
We have also redesigned our website. In September 2015 the Mandom Group began participating in the United Nations Global Compact. Mandom is carrying out various efforts to strengthen its CSR promotion system, which includes adhering to international guidelines such as ISO 26000 — Guidance on Social Responsibility — and the Global Reporting Initiative. We aim to deliver a richer selection of information in an easy-to-understand way to a broad range of stakeholders. Toward this end we revamped the Social/Environmental Information page on Mandom's corporate website, and will set up a new CSR Information page in 2016.
On the CSR Information page of the redesigned website we will organize information on CSR-related activities into the seven core subjects of the ISO 26000 standard for clarity — Organizational Governance, Human Rights, Labor Practices, The Environment, Fair Operating Practices, Consumer Issues, and Community Involvement and Development. In this way we will present outlines of the Mandom Group's CSR practices and material issues, and the latest information on our KohDoh activities based on our CSR promotion system in these areas.
We will continue to issue CSR/Sustainability Reports (KohDoh Reports) and present relevant information through the corporate website, aiming to maintain clear and timely communication that will be of value to our diverse stakeholders and help to foster sustainability in society.
Scope and Time Frame
Here we will list information about Mandom Corp. and group companies in Japan and outside of Japan. The activities of various sites within Japan will be covered — Mandom's Fukusaki Factory, office buildings (head office, Tokyo Nihonbashi building, Marketing Aoyama Office), and various sales locations.
Information by financial year will be presented in line with the following accounting periods.

To provide the active information disclosure expected and demanded by our diverse, wide-range of stakeholders, we are posting information and data on items other than the Core, to the extent it can be aggregated at the present time.
