Mandom Wet Wipes claim to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria. Are they effective against COVID-19?

Mandom Wet Wipes contain alcohol (ethanol), and can be used to wipe away bacteria and dirt, and to keep your hands, fingers and belongings clean. We have confirmed that they do indeed eliminate 99.99% of bacteria,* but we have not verified their effectiveness against COVID-19.
*They do not eliminate all types of bacteria.
