I slipped on some hairspray residue on the floor, how can I get rid of it?

If the glossy ingredients contained in the hairspray adhere to the floor it can become slippery. To remove the glossy overspray from hairspray if it gets stuck to the floor, use soap and a damp cloth to clean it off, then wipe down the area thoroughly with water.
