Are surfactant agents bad for my skin?

We only use surfactants in our cosmetics that have been tested for safety and found to place no stress on the skin.
The basic ingredients of cosmetics—i.e., oils, water-based agents, and powders—do not usually blend well with each other. Therefore, surfactants are added to enable consistent and stable blending... For example, water and oil do not normally mix, but adding surfactants makes it possible to blend tiny oil globules into water-based ingredients and vice versa. For that reason, surfactants are a useful component in many cosmetics.
