Q&A on Effects
Will hair grooming products cause the dyed color of my hair to fade quicker than normal?
Hair tonics containing large amounts of alcohol (i.e., ethanol) cause color to fade the fastest. Other products like quick-drying gel (also containing large amounts of alcohol) and hair liquid may cause color to fade.
Please be aware that there is a risk when using such products - particularly hair tonic and gel - of color transfer for a week or so after dyeing your hair.
