Q&A on Effects

What can I do to make sure the color of my dyed hair lasts as long as possible?

Everyday factors such as shampoo, sweat and sunlight affect dyed hair, and will cause fading to some extent.
Damaged hair is more susceptible to color loss, so the color tends to fade faster.
If you want to prolong the effects of your hair dye, try not do anything which damages your hair. It’s important to follow a daily hair care routine, such as using treatments regularly.

Perming or straightening hair can cause the color of hair dye to fade. If you’re planning on having any treatments like this you should try to get them done before you dye your hair.
Also, bear in mind that you should try to leave at least a week before you dye your hair to minimize damage to your scalp and hair.
